Why We started
I bought my first car at 22. It was a 2005 50th anniversary Ford Thunderbird, all black with a tan soft-top and interior. I loved that car. I wanted to make it mine and show it off. I took it to a car show, parked it in high visibility areas, and talked about it all the time. I wanted it to last forever. But black high gloss paint is hard to maintain. Every imperfection can be seen on black paint. One night I was driving home though a construction zone and hit a cone. It scratched the front bumper of my beautiful car. The next day I spent hours trying to get the scratches out, but they were too deep. That's when I started looking for a way to fix it.
Custom paint is expensive and the whole car would have cost me thousands. Vinyl wrap could give me that same custom color and a fraction of the price right... wrong. The vinyl wrap I was looking at was $2500. As a college student struggling to make enough money for school and life, there was no way I could afford that option either. So, I looked for alternatives and found rubberized paint. I could paint my car and then peel it off when I want a new color, just like I would with a wrap. The cost, $900 to get a matte black paint job on my car.
Customizing your car shouldn't put you in debt or even a 'tight spot'. There are tons of options and alternatives for how to do it, you just need to know where to look. I created Wise Wraps for that reason. We want to help you find the best product and the best price for whatever you need, even if it is something we can't do.
